Report on the Poland Exchange Program ポーランド交流プログラムのご報告

From April 27, 2025, for a period of six nights, we welcomed 14 students from Lodz II High School in the city of Łódź, Poland, as part of our international exchange program.

During their stay, the Polish students experienced everyday life in Japan through homestays and participated in a variety of meaningful activities.
One of the highlights was their participation in the Osaka-Kansai Expo, where they served as volunteer staff at the Poland Pavilion alongside our SOIS students, contributing to this global event.

On campus, students took part in Japanese cultural experiences such as making rice balls (onigiri) and miso soup together. They also joined classes, practiced shadowing, and gave presentations about Poland, creating opportunities for cultural exchange and mutual understanding.

This program provided a valuable experience for all participants, deepening their intercultural awareness and expanding their global perspectives.

4月27日からの6日間、ポーランド・ウッジ市にあるウッジ第二高等学校から生徒14名をお迎えし、ホームステイを行い、交流を行いました。

期間中、ポーランドの生徒たちはホストファミリーと共に日本での生活を体験し、さまざまな活動に参加しました。特に印象的だったのは、大阪・関西万博での活動です。SOISの生徒とともにポーランドパビリオンのボランティアスタッフとして参加し、国際的なイベントの一端を担いました。

また、校内では一緒におにぎりやお味噌汁を作って日本文化体験を行ったり、授業に参加してシャドウイングやポーランド紹介のプレゼンテーションを行ったりと、互いの文化や価値観を深く理解し合う有意義な時間となりました。

今回の交流を通して、生徒たちは異文化への理解を深め、国際的な視野を広げる貴重な経験を得ることができました。
